Welcome to the Town of Onondaga Assessor’s Office. Our office is responsible for the valuation and data collection of all parcels within the Town of Onondaga, as well as administering all tax exemptions that the town or its school districts offer. Exemption renewals - Disability & Limited Income, Clergy, Non Profit Organizations (Parts 1&2), Senior Citizens & Limited Income. Firefighters and Ambulance Workers and Agriculture - are sent out to all applicable residents in September and should be returned to our office by March 1st of the following year. Please don't hesitate to contact our office with any questions you may have!
PLEASE NOTE: New York State has taken over full management of the School Tax Relief (STAR) Credit Program. Towns no longer are involved in administering the STAR or Enhanced STAR exemption programs as a result. To register for the STAR Credit, go to tax.ny.gov/star or call 518.457.2036 (8:30 - 4:30).
