      $20 Filing Fee.  The Court does NOT provide the filing documents.

Small Claim Matters

      Small Claims are filed with the Court Clerk. The party you are filing against must live, work or have a place of business in the Town of Onondaga.  They must receive their mail in the Town of Onondaga.  You must provide the Court the exact mailing address         NOT a Post Office Box.  The allowable maximum amount to claim is $3000.  For claims up to $1000 the filing fee is $10.  For claims over $1000 the filing fee is $15.  You must contact the court for Small Claims paperwork.  For more information you may pick up a  SMALL CLAIMS BOOKLET at the court office or you may view the New York State Guide to Small Claims Court by clicking the link below:

  •       Credit/Debit card (additional 2.99% fee if using a card) Only Visa & Mastercard  accepted or can mail in completed Credit Card Authorization Form out with a copy of a valid New York State Drivers License along with your fine notice

When contacting the Onondaga County District Attorney, you will complete the Traffic Ticket Reduction Request on their website. Please include an uploaded copy of your ticket and a copy of your driving abstract/record - which you can download and print.

Wedding Requests

Wedding requests are available & scheduled by appointment only.  In New York State, Town Judges may perform civil wedding ceremonies. Judge Craig Kerr may be reached at (315) 474-6055.
