Annual Fall Cleanup

Each year, the Town holds its Fall Clean-up. Flyers are mailed to all residents providing the dates and details. The 2023 flyer is posted above.

During the seven-week Clean-up, our crew and trucks pick up junk and brush by fire district across the more than 200+ miles of roads that encompass our town. Fire District information can be found on your property tax records or call Hwy. Dept. for help. Residents should have have their junk, brush and yard waste at the roadside by 7am on the Monday of their scheduled week as we pick up ONCE ONLY at each address.

Items that can be disposed of include: Sofas, chairs, box springs, washers, dryers, toys, scrap wood, plumbing fixtures, lawn furniture, grills, carpeting, and dry empty paint cans without lids. Glass items like windows and mirrors are also acceptable but MIST BE taped or wrapped in plastic.

Brush MUST be piled separately from junk. Branches must be no more than 6 inches in diameter and no more than 8 feet long. Please stack neatly away from fences, power poles and low wires.
